This article is called “USEFUL TO GOD.” The real question is this, are we useful to God? Can we be useful to him at all. What value are you to God at all? We all use things, that are useful to us everyday and we put value on it. We also put value on people, because of how valuable they are to us. Just like we put value on the tools we use in our work everyday. Do humans place value on how useful people are to them? How useful and valuable are your family and friends to you?
Will you honestly answer this question for yourself? How many times have you truly prayed and asked God to use you? Or how many times have you stopped praying, and asking God to use you?
Ephesians 2:10 “For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.”
Here are some ways useful to God: Read the entire Bible in One Year. Know that you are loved by God. Worship the Lord. Honor God in your life. Do what ‘the Father’ is doing, llisten to God. Do all the good you can with God’s help, sharing Him, Seek to please God. Cry out to the Lord for help. Love your enemy. Pass it on. Find and seek ways to share Jesus and His Word with others. “IF YOU KNOW HOW YOU GOT SAVED THEN YOU KNOW ENOUGH TO TELL OTHERS HOW they can be SAVED-AMEN.” My Pastor Johnny Gibson taught me this years ago.
HOW DO YOU SHARE GOD
First, give yourself and your life to God. You cannot share or give away what you do not have. Here are some ways from faithisland.org. “When Jesus left this earth to return to heaven to wait for the time God sends Him back to get us, He (Jesus) instructed… commanded us to be His hands, feet, eyes, ears, and mouth. We are to take the message of the Gospel to anyone and everyone we can (Matthew 28:18-20).Jesus didn’t just tell us what to do and expect us to “wing it”. No way! He told us how to reach the Holy Spirit (Acts 2:38) and reminded us through the words of Paul, that we are all created with specific gifts and abilities that allow us to minister to others (1 Corinthians 12).
Service isn’t an option, it is a necessity. Service is a responsibility. It is a responsibility you need to take seriously and one you should embrace joyfully. Don’t let the thought of service intimidate you and don’t ever feel you don’t have anything worthwhile to offer. We all have something… lots of somethings to offer. But just in case you need a few ideas to get you started, take a look at what I believe are the top ten ways we can serve. How many of them will you check off your list this week? And do make a list.
Here are 10 things you can share: 1. Be kind to strangers. The absolute best way you can serve both God and others is to be kind. 2. Be there for others. 3. Pray for those in need and be specific, not just general, pray for their needs. 4. Share your food, 5. share your time, 6. Share your money, 7 Share your stuff, 8. Share your talents, 9. Share the Word of God, and 10.Share yourself, and share your love.” Always share the gospel of Jesus Christ so it will lead to salvation and a changed life.
WHO ARE YOU DOING IT FOR?
Dear Reader, what more can you truly ask for, that is more important than knowing for a fact, that God is using you for Himself, His glory and the benefit of others? That has eternal benefits with it. Is this so called ministry for the praise of Jesus, or self? Just look around this world and the internet. You will see all kinds of work and so called ministry in this area. But is it true ministry for the praise of the Lord or themselves? Where does the praise and money go to? If you truly want t9 know the real purpose of a ministry, just follow the money trail.
I have said for years while watching the televangelist on television to listen for this: Watch the so called televangelist stand up and say, “GOD NEEDS YOUR MONEY, GOD NEEDS YOUR MONEY,BUT THEY GIVE THEIR ADDRESS OF WHERE TO SEND IT (NOT GODS ADDRESS-HUMMMM)” And if you send your money to ME, God is going to triple whatever you give and send it back to you. And so many so called evangelist pervert and twist the scriptures, to make you believe their false doctrine and give more.
Unfortunately, there are way to many people who want to have a relationshop with God only for what they can get out of Him. They have no desire to truly know Him or serve Him. They want a one way street relationship with God, for their own benefit. They seem to forget He is and will be their judge in the end.
USEFUL TO WHO? GOD OR MAN?
Now dear Reader, who are you being useful to, God or some man made, so called ministry? Yes, you can be useful to both God and man in a ministry, but who comes first and who is truly getting the praise, honor and glory of that work? Who truly gets the praise, glory and honor? Here is the real question for you and me. Have you lived your life for you or God? If you say “BOTH” then who has been the leader? Maybe you have not lived for God but it is not too late to start.
Will You, turn from yourself and turn to God, for FORGIVENESS and have a personal relationship with Him. God will save you and give you eternal life with him just as He did with me. It’s all yours for the asking. Again Romans 10:13 “For who so ever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” Will you, Bow your heart, turn to Him, and ASK, CALL ON HIM. He will instantly SAVE YOU. JESUS IS THE ONLY ONE WHO CAN SEPARATE YOU FROM SIN. WE can be GODS CHILDREN, SAVED AND FORGIVEN FOR ALL ETERNITY.
If you have asked, called upon God, for forgiveness of sin and Salvation, please let me know below in the comment section so I can rejoice with you. Your thoughts, opinions and comments are welcome so leave them below in the comment section. RAY
People want to be useful to parents, relatives, siblings, friends and others whom they love or love them. But have you ever been useful to God, your very own creator, who gave his life for you and died on an old rugged cross for your and my sins, that we could have eternal life with him forever as forgiven children? I believe the words of this song would be a great starting place so here it is.
CONCLUSION
HAVE THINE OWN WAY LORD!
Have Thine own way, Lord! Have Thine own way!
Thou art the Potter, I am the clay.
Mold me and make me after Thy will,
While I am waiting, yielded and still.
Have Thine own way, Lord! Have Thine own way!
Search me and try me, Master, today!
Whiter than snow, Lord, wash me just now,
As in Thy presence humbly I bow.
Have Thine own way, Lord! Have Thine own way!
Wounded and weary, help me, I pray!
Power, all power, surely is Thine!
Touch me and heal me, Savior divine.
Have Thine own way, Lord! Have Thine own way!
Hold o’er my being absolute sway!
Fill with Thy Spirit till all shall see
Christ only, always, living in me.
