This article is called, “I Can See Clearly Now. ” There is so much truth in that statement. There have been times and so many things that devasted people or blinded them from what was actually happening. And often many cried out to God and said, “God what is going on, what is happening to me? Don’t you see what just happened?” This is horrible, I never believed I would face this kind of horror, devastation, and tragedy, someone please help me.

I feel hopeless and helpless, how did I get to this point? Everyday is a dark day of gloom without any hope or relief. God are you listening? I don’t understand, I see no help, relief and no way out. I believe this is not just an “EYE PROBLEM” but is also an “I PROBLEM.” I think they may be twins. 

I love the words of the song that says, “OPEN THE EYES OF MY HEART LORD, OPEN THE EYES OF MY HEART.” Yes, inside you there is eyes to your heart, where you see and understand. Dear Reader, if you have not been saved and forgiven by Jesus Christ, the biggest “OBSTACLE” in your life is “SPIRITUAL DARKNESS.” You may already know or have heard these words: “AMAZING GRACE, HOW SWEET THE SOUND, THAT SAVED A WRETCH LIKE ME, I ONCE WAS LOST, BUT NOW I’M FOUND, WAS BLIND, BUT NOW I SEE (CLEARLY).“

Before Paul became an Apostle he was a scholar and was very “RELIGIOUS.” Being hyper religious he set out to kill Christians for being Christians. He was greatly feared by Christians. On the road to Damascus, God struck him physically blind. (ACTS 9:1-19). Then God drew Paul to Himself and Paul was saved, forgiven and his heart was converted to God. Paul’s eyes were restored and he got his sight back, and he also recieved Spiritual eye sight. His blindness and darkness was completely gone and he could clearly see, physically and spiritually.

WHAT DOES GOD HAVE TO ALLOW IN YOUR LIFE, TO GET YOUR ATTENTION? WHAT DOES GOD HAVE TO DO TO OPEN THE EYES OF YOUR HEART? SIN SEPARATES US FROM GOD, BUT IT CAM BE FORGIVEN IN CHRIST. HEAVEN IS REAL AND SO IS hell. God had a plan for Paul’s life and God has a plan for your life. Paul wrote half of the New Testament and won many people to the Lord. Will you listen to God, open your heart and life and let the “SON” shine in? Then I promise you that you absolutely will see clearly Gods work in your life, and be blessed!

Let me clear up one misconception. God is not beating you up everyday, He is trying to pull you unto salvation and forgiveness. God wants the best for you in your life. Here is another main problem and obstacle. John 10:10 “¹⁰ The thief (SATAN) cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.” Satan is your enemy, not God. Satan is the one who blinds you to God.

SPIRITUAL BLINDNESS 

What is spiritual blindness. As, got questions says, “To be spiritually blind is not to see Christ, and not to see Christ is not to see God (Colossians 1:15-16; 2 Corinthians 4:6). Spiritual blindness is a grievous condition experienced by those who do not believe in God, Jesus Christ, and His Word (Romans 2:8; 2 Thessalonians 2:12). Those who reject Christ are the lost (John 6:68-69). Being spiritually blind, they are perishing (2 Corinthians 4:3-4; Revelation 3:17).

They choose not to accept the teachings of Christ and His authority in their lives (Matthew 28:18). They are blind to the manifestations of God as revealed throughout His Word and Jesus Christ (John 1:1; Acts 28:26-27). They are described as those who “do not accept the things of the Spirit of God, for they are folly to him, and he is not able to understand them because they are spiritually discerned” (1 Corinthians 2:14).

Spiritual darkness is the state of a person who is living apart from God. Those who have come to know God through His Son Jesus Christ, are the ones who have been delivered from spiritual darkness and now walk in the light of God’s life. Please let God bring you out of your darkness in you life, and bring you into his marvelous light and His life. Thus, spiritual darkness means not having fellowship with God through a relationship with Jesus Christ. The darkness of separation from God is overcome through Christ: “In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it” (John 1:4–5).”

I WISH I COULD BELIEVE, I JUST DON’T HAVE FAITH

I do understand how a lot of people feel this way. In one sense, they truly fear believing and fear failure and disappointment. So, if they do not believe they will not be hurt or disappointed. May I please explain something to you? You do have faith and you do believe every day of your life, and you already use it. You go to bed everynight believing that you will wake up the next morning. If you thought you would die in your sleep you would not go to bed.

You get in your car and go to work. If you believe you will be in a bad car wreck and die, you would not go or you would take a different route. Faith and believing works in ALL area’s of your life daily. YOU USE FAITH AND BELIEVING EVERYDAY OF YOUR LIFE ALREADY!

Dear Reader. “FAITH IS BELIEVING THAT GOD WILL DO WHAT HE SAYS HE WILL DO.” That is Biblical faith and SAVING FAITH from God Himself. Faith, believing and trusting God is all it takes for eternal forgiveness and salvation. It really is that simple. We walk around in darkness and cannot see spiritually until God opens our spiritual eyes.

Now here is the main problems. II Corinthians 4:4 “In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.” Dear Reader, that is SATAN HIMSELF who blinds minds and keeps people away from God. Satan is as real as God is. 

CONCLUSION

Here is the most important question in this article. Where is your faith and trust for eternity? Is it in the new revised culture of this world, or is it in the sacrifice of Jesus, Gods only begotten son? I ask because one leads to heaven and the other leads to a devil’s hell. I will use a dirty word here (SIN) according to the world’s standards, because it is now offensive. In reality sin is in all of us. Sin separates us from a Holy God. Sin is the reason we all die, Romans 6:23. God cannot and will never accept sin because of who He is. BUT HE WILL FORGIVE IT, SAVE YOUR SOUL AND GIVE YOU A HOME IN HEAVEN FOREVER. Understand God gave every person FREE WILL. That is your ability to choose.

Look in the mirror and tell me the person you see has never said anything wrong, thought anything wrong or done anything wrong. We all know better than that. Like it or not we have all sinned and that makes us ALL sinners. Sin is a killer and that is why we all die. 1.We are the sinners. 2. Jesus is the Savior. 3. Jesus came to save sinners. II Corinthians 5:21 ““For he (GOD) hath made him (Jesus) to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.”

Dear Reader, we live in a dangerous, evil world, just look around. I challenge you to read Romans chapter one or II Timothy chapter 3. This is where we are today. The Lord is coming very soon to take his children home in the Rapture of the Church. Then Satan takes over during the worst time in human history called the 7-year Tribulation. You do not want to be here.

Dear Reader, In the year 33 A.D. The Roman culture and people, along with the Jewish Religious leaders, had cancel culture. And they definitely rejected Jesus and cancelled Him. Not knowing He would die and pay for their sins also. Will you also cancel Jesus out of you own heart and life?

Will you turn from yourself and turn to God for Salvation? Will you put your faith and trust in Jesus and accept His payment for your sins? Jesus died a horrible death on the cross to pay for our sins and Salvation for us. Romans 10:13 says, “For who so ever shall call (ASK) on the name of the Lord shall be saved.” If you are not a Christian saved by the blood of Jesus, will you do that right now? I PROMISE YOU THAT YOU WILL BE ABLE TO SEE CLEARLY NOW. When the gloom, doom, and the storms of life come, “LOOK UP” for a brighter day with Jesus.
