This article is called “Time is up-racing to the grave.” I guess you must think this is a crazy title. Let me show you exactly what I mean. But first I must ask a question. “WHEN WILL YOU DIE AND HOW FAST?” Click here and go see for yourself, it might just open your eyes.
Now, what do you think when you see this in “REAL TIME” and see how fast the clock is ticking worldwide? Maybe you have not realized there are now over “8 BILLION” humans on earth right now.” I believe that I can safely say, “Death is no respecter of persons.” No one will ever escape death in the end, and yes, the end will come for everyone who has or ever will be born. Maybe you are one of those people who believe that death ends your very existence.
PART OF YOU IS ETERNAL AND WILL NEVER DIE
If you are a Christian, then you understand this heading. Even many who are not Christians understand this statement, but do not care enough about their eternal spirit and soul, to save it. Genesis 2:7 “And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul. Maybe you do not truly understand what really happened here. Everything about God is eternal.
The very breath of God is eternal, and God placed that life and breath in the head of mankind, Adam. Every human has it in them. Your flesh body will die because of sin and corruption. The flesh is only temporary. I Corinthians 15:50 “Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.”
Hebrews 9:27 “And as it is appointed unto men once to die, (FLESH), but after this the judgment. God gave up on the flesh all the way back in the Garden of Eden. Your soul is eternal and your dead spirit you carry, ONLY comes alive by the spiritual birth, when you are saved by the grace of God and put your faith and trust in Jesus Christ, for Salvation and forgiveness. Humans’ eternal destination will either by heaven or hell-and that is your choice, AMEN. Why do humans die in the flesh? Romans 6:23 “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” Dear friend, SIN IS A KILLER, The Consequence of sin is DEATH. and that is why we all die in the flesh, but the eternal soul and spirit will live on forever. YOU DETERMINE WHERE THAT SOUL/SPIRIT WILL LIVE FOREVER, WHEN THE FLESH BODY DIES.
BODY-SOUL-AND SPIRIT.
THE BODY
I do not think I have to say a lot about the Body because you live in your body, your flesh and blood. Let me tell you what God says about our flesh and blood. I Corinthians 15:50 ““Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.” Our flesh bodies are sinful and polluted with sin. As the Bible says, we were all born in a flesh body but there is another birth besides the flesh.
John 1:13-15 ” Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. 14 And the Word was made flesh, (JESUS), and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. 15 John bare witness of him, and cried, saying, This was he of whom I spake, He that cometh after me is preferred before me: for he was before me. Understand “THE BODY is the part of us that is “WORLD CONSCIOUS.”
THE SOUL
God created the flesh body out of the dust of the ground then: Genesis 2:7 “And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a “LIVING SOUL.” The SOUL is “SELF CONSCIOUS.“
I agree with Derek Prince when he says, “The soul of man is self-conscious; it functions in the will, the intellect or mind, and the emotions. The soul says, “I want,” “I think,” and “I feel.” It is in rebellion to God, the true I Am. This is where surrender must take place. The soul must believe in the work of Christ and submit to His Lordship in order for reconciliation to take place. Man was created in the likeness of God and the Scripture reveals that man is a triune being consisting of spirit, soul, and body, yet but one person.”
THE SPIRIT
John 4: 24 ” God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.” John Chapter 3, Jesus told Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews, 3 different times that you must be born again, verses 3,5, and 7. “BORN OF THE SPIRIT.”THIS IS THE NEW BIRTH. (NOT A FLESH BIRTH). The SPIRIT IS GOD CONSCIOUS. Mankind is born with and carries a “DEAD SPIRIT” within us because of “SIN.” Romans 3:23 “For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.” Romans 6:23 “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” Sin is a killer and kills us all.
All humans ever born carry a “DEAD SPIRIT” Mankind’s spirit died with our original parents, Adam and Even all the way back to the garden of Eden. Every human that has been born since them inherited “SIN AND A DEAD SPIRIT” From Adam and Eve. Can I prove this, Yes. Psalm 51:5 “Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; (an immoral nature) and in sin, did my mother conceive me.”
Derek also says, “Now through man’s rebellion against God, as we’ve seen, a radical change took place in every area of his personality. His spirit died; his soul became infected with rebellion; his body became subject to corruption, decay, and ultimately, death. However, thank God, that He has provided a remedy, and this remedy is regeneration. In regeneration, man’s spirit, through faith in Jesus Christ, is reunited with God. (MADE SPIRITUALLY ALIVE). The lamp within him is rekindled. Man’s soul is saved from the guilt and the consequences of sin, and man’s body also is revitalized from within.
In this way, it then becomes possible for regenerated man to function once again in accordance with God’s plan. In a certain sense, sin is a failure to function according to the purpose for which we were created, and salvation from sin restores to us the possibility to function in that way.” Every day we live we are “Racing to the Grave.” One day time will be up.
CONCLUSION
Proverbs 27:1 “Boast not thyself of tomorrow; for thou knowest not what a day may bring forth.” Scroll back up and look at the “WORLD DEATH CLOCK” again. None of us are guaranteed that we will be alive tomorrow. It does not matter if you are young or old, healthy or sick. You may truly expect to live a long life but there is no guarantee of that. Your life and my life are all in GODS HANDS. You have no guarantee that you will wake up in the morning. One tiny blood clot in the brain can stop that, or you own heart can stop beating. God just gave you your current heartbeat, but the next one is His. Acts 17:28 “For in him (GOD) we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring.”
We live in a very Evil, Wicked, World today. People are being slaughtered and murdered every day. According to God and His Word, it is only going to get worse. We live in a day where you can be killed, just for having an opinion, that someone else does not like. Just look around. God is real and so is Satan. in this life you have a choice, and you will follow one of them-that is fact. And that choice, will set your eternal destiny by your own choice. There are Consequences for every choice you make, and they are either good or bad.
I have tried to show in this article, who we are, where we come from, where we are going and what we are like in ourselves (BODY, SOUL AND SPIRIT). I wanted to show how we function in each area. I am sure most people understand the desires of their flesh body, and the weaknesses of the body. But how many really understand what “SIN HAS DONE TO HUMANITY AND WHAT IT STILL DOES.” God has a standard that is based on Himself, and that standard is perfection. God will never accept sin, but He will forgive it. Jesus Christ satisfied God and His perfection FOR US. Jesus paid for our sins by giving his life and dying on a cruel cross. Jesus became our substitute and satisfied God. He took our condemnation of sin on himself. II Corinthians 5:21 “For he hath made him (Jesus) to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.
There is always someone who says, I am not a bad person, I try to do good to others, I think I am a good person. What does God say about that? Romans 3:10 “As it is written,”There is none righteous, no, not one.” Here is a simple way to know. Go look in the mirror and tell me the person you see in the mirror is perfect and has never said, thought or done anything wrong in their life. We all know that no one can say that, we all know better. We have all made mistakes, messed up and done wrong. God calls that SIN. If you are honest with yourself, you know we have all sinned.
As I said, God will never ACCEPT SIN, but He will forgive it eternally because Jesus died in our place and paid the sin debt for us, it was our judgement for sin so we could be forgiven for it. Romans 10:13 says, “For who so ever shall (ASK)call on the name of the Lord shall be saved. Will you turn to God, bow your heart and ask God for forgiveness of sin? You do not need a cell phone to make this call, just call from within your heart and soul, and God will save you and give you eternal Salvation and home in heaven forever. Please receive Jesus Christ as your own personal Savior. Just surrender to God.
