This article is called, “Satan says you got to pay and work.” “HE DID.” And Satan’s final payment and destination has not come yet. I know this sounds like another weird name for an article. How does Satan say you got to pay and work? “RELIGION.”I believe Satan started every false Religion on the planet. Scholars’ way smarter than me and historians say, since the beginning of time as we know it, there has been 4200 false religions. So, why would Satan do that? “TO KEEP YOU AWAY FROM GOD AND TRUE SALVATION IN JESUS CHRIST.  

All Religions in the world are based on “HUMAN ACHEIVEMENTS.” Other names for this are WORKS, THE RELIGIOUS THINGS YOU DO, Keeping the Do’s and Dont’s (legalism), Catechisms and Sacraments. These and many more things like this, are simply “YOUR PERFORMANCE AND YOUR OWN WORKS-THAT EQUALS SALVATION.” Understand, all of these are human works that gains you Salvation, through your own good deeds and performance. 

I understand the work force and mankind has to work for a living. In most people this is engrained in them. Money is essential in our lives today; it’s how we make a living. Of course, there are too many who wants everything for free and are determined they will never work. So work is a concept in all cultures and societies. 

I also recognize another concept. Someone joins some Religion or church. Religions and churches are always willing to let you work and work hard. They will let you work there in various ways and let you work until you drop. You can work and give all you want. And don’t forget to PAY your tithes and offerings. And many have the mindset, “I AM TRYING TO PAY GOD BACK AND PLEASE HIM.” Yes, that does happen, especially in cults.

Now here is the real problem. What happens to the person when they get tired and quit performing all of these works? What happens when they just walk away? In most Religions they fall from grace and lose their salvation they are working for. Simply put, I must be religious, I must perform and work, I must keep myself saved, by all the religious things I do. And I am here to tell you that Satan loves this, because it is “DECEPTION.” If I do more that will make God happier. 

WHAT IS THE MOTIVATION IN RELIGION

The answer to this question is simply one word, “F E A R.” I have to do all these religious things; I have to perform and “keep myself saved and in God’s good graces. I do not want God or the Church getting mad or angry with me, and “TAKING AWAY MY SALVATION.” The Bible says in God’s Word, I John 4:18 “FEAR HATH TORMENT.” I am afraid that God is going to fire me and put me in hell. I am afraid God will no long love me, and take away my Salvation, so I have to do more and work harder to stay saved and please Him.

Are you starting to get the real picture of false salvation and religion. Your Salvation from God is not based on your human performance or religious works. If it were then YOU EARNED IT, and you have to work harder to keep it. (ITS A TRAP). And boy how some Religious Denominations use this to keep you in fear and “CONTROL.” They make themselves the authority over you and your salvation, to keep you in line. Then there are my old friends in the Primitive Baptist Movement. They have a favorite saying, so here it is: “YOU GOT TO GET RIGHT, THEN LIVE RIGHT, THEN DIE RIGHT, TO GET UP RIGHT (RESURRECTED).” You better keep yourself saved. No one can because sin and Satan will not let you. 

Even in Christians lives Satan is the accuser of the brethren/us. We Christians are still in a sinful human flesh body, and we still sin every day. We sin in thought, word or deeds. Satan comes to each of us and says, “Do you think God is going to forgive you for that one?” I still repent and ask for forgiveness.  Let me show you that we are eternally secure in the Father and Jesus. John 10:28 “And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.” Verse 29 “My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father’s hand.” Notice please that we are in Jesus hands and the Fathers hands-AMEN.

LET ME SHOW YOU TRUE SALVATION FROM ISAIAH 53

I want to start with a very bold, actual, factual statement. Jesus died on the cross as our substitute and paid for ALL SIN. Past, Present and Future sins.  I’ve done the same thing over, and over, and over again (and so have you). If Jesus did not die for ALL SIN, then he died for NO SIN. Hebrews 14:10 “By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all. Now verse 12 “But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God.”

Verse 14 “For by one offering he hath perfected “for ever“ them that are sanctified.” AND verses 17&18 “And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more. 18 Now where remission of these is, there is no more offering for sin.” THANK YOU, JESUS. Jesus paid it ALL once and for ever. Jesus did not come and die for past sins. Then come back and die for present sins. Then come back and die for future sins. He was not crucified 3 different times. Just one time for ALL sins. Even the Jews in the Old Testament offered different animal sacrifices that pointed to the one true sacrifice that would come and take away all sin-JESUS.

Isaiah 53 shows us how that we are saved, born again believers, and we are: 1. FORGIVEN. 2. JUSTIFIED (Just as if I have never sinned). 3. REGENERATED, 4. RECONCILED, 5. ADOPTED, 6. REEDEMED, 7. SANCTIFIED. This is what satisfied God, once and for all. II Corinthians 5:21 “For he (GOD)  hath made him (JESUS) to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him. Dear Reader, God had to be satisfied before we could be forgiven, sin separated us from God. This is what it took for God to forgive us. Please notice this verse.

Isaiah 53:10-11 “Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in his hand. 11.He shall see of the travail (SUFFERING) of his (JESUS) soul, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities. The very soul of Jesus Christ was also the payment for sin that SATISFIED GOD.

CONCLUSION

I started this article by showing how Satan has started so many Religions in this world. All Religions are based upon Satan’s lies. Religions are all based on performance, works, and Human Achievement. This is known as a works Salvation, but it is no salvation. You cannot work your way to heaven by any performance or works that you do. If your performance and works brought forgiveness of sin and satisfied God, then Jesus would have never come to earth died on a cruel cross and shed His blood for the forgiveness of sin. Ephesians 2:8-9 “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.”

Our Total Salvation comes from God and the sacrifice of Jesus. NOT OUR PERFORMANCE, WORKS OR ANY RELIGION FROM SATAN. You can do nothing, absolutely nothing to earn salvation and forgiveness. That work and performance was done by Jesus on the cross, with his death, burial and resurrection for the dead. Only He did the work that satisfied God-AMEN. If you or I went to the cross, we would have to die for our own sins. We could not die for anyone else sins. And we would be in hell, not heaven. The sad part is how the world is going to find out they are going to be in hell because they have been deceived by Satan. 

May I prove this too you? May I show you what Jesus said about trusting in Religions and works for Salvation? Matthew KJV 7:22-23 “Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? 23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.” Jesus says, I never knew you, you are not might child, you are not forgiven, you never came to me for true Salvation and forgiveness. And they will be cast into hell forever. Satan will not be alone. 

I have shown in this article what the real problem is between God and humans. It is the sin issue, and we are all sinners in need of a Savior. There is only one way to God and heaven and that is the sacrifice of Jesus Christ to pay for all sin. Religions are all about what you do and your works and performance. That will never satisfy God or get forgiveness for you and me. Real Salvation and acceptance by God are in what Jesus did for us. NO SINNER AND NO WORKS WILL EVER PLEASE OR SATISFY GOD. 

Go look in the mirror and tell me the person you see has never sinned? Never did anything wrong never thought anything wrong or never said anything wrong. We all know better than that. Do you really think the things you do, and your works pleases God? Do not be deceived by Satan. Your own works will you in hell, the works of Jesus will get you in heaven and give you salvation. This is your choice and you do have free will, the ability to choose. 

Romans 6:23 tells us how sin kills us. Yes, sin is a killer and that is why we all die. ALL Sin will be punished in hell for ever including all sinners. You can escape this, and God made a way if you will accept His sacrifice and forgiveness of sin. Romans 10:13 says, For who so ever shall (ASK) and call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” Will you turn to God for forgiveness and Salvation? Will you bow you heart and call on God right now if you have never been saved. Ask for forgiveness and receive Jesus into your heart and life as your own personal Savior? Put your faith and trust in Christ for Salvation right now?
