This article is called “Faith verses Culture.” I think the best way to start this article is to have a few definitions so everyone will understand what I am talking about. What are the 3 aspects of faith? Three aspects of Faith: In Whom do we believe; what do we believe; and why do we believe? Here is one definition, you can totally “CHUNCK” in the TRASH-“The Catholic Church identified four pillars of faith, namely creed, prayer, mass and sacraments, and Christian living. (Pope John Paul II.)” (Excuse me but that is a works salvation based on your performance).
OXYFORD DICTIONARY “trust in somebody’s ability or knowledge; trust that somebody/something will do what has been promised.” “Biblically, faith is considered a belief and trust in God based on evidence but without total proof. This idea is associated with “taking a leap of faith,” a common English idiom. Among all definitions, faith holds a common theme: trust. Whether you’re putting faith in a person, duty or belief, trust is a necessity.” Faith-Trust-Believing are ALL intertwined. The Bible says, Hebrews 11:1 KJV “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.“
WHAT IS CULTURE
DEFINITTIONS OF CULTRUE. From Oxford Dictionary: “A way of life. [uncountable] the customs and beliefs, art, way of life, and social organization of a particular country or group European/Islamic/African/American, etc. culture working-class culture.” What is culture? “Culture can be defined as all the ways of life including arts, beliefs and institutions of a population that are passed down from generation to generation. Culture has been called “the way of life for an entire society.” As such, it includes codes of manners, dress, language, religion, rituals, art.”
I really want to make a statement right now and I hope you will understand it. Every Civilization that ever existed had a culture. And their culture changed from one civilization to another as they progressed. Example: Just look at the high-tech culture we live in today. “EVERYONE” has human faith. Can I prove this? YES. Each person lays down at night to go to sleep. They have faith and believe they will wake up in the morning and get their day started. If they truly believed they would die in their sleep, they would not go to bed. Unfortunately, too many only have faith in themself.
People get in their car to go to work or somewhere else. If they believed they would get run over by a Semi-truck on down the road and die, they would not go or they would take a different route very slowly. Understand one thing: “No culture can keep you alive. History proves this.”
Too many people’s Faith is in themselves. Their faith says, “We are going to grow, expand and make this world and culture greater than ever before. We are the Masters of our own destiny and our ability is unlimited.” THIS IS THE VERY GOAL OF THE GLOBALIST RIGHT NOW. YET THEY INTEND ON CONTROLLING THE WORLD. (This is also the very goal of Satan, and he is doing his part to make it happen).
Their faith, trust and believing is only in THEMSELVES. Consider this statement: “FAITH DRIVES CULTURE.” It is the faith and belief that “WE CAN DO IT AND WE CAN MAKE IT BETTER.” WE CAN MAKE IT ANY WAY WE CHOOSE. All of mankind’s hopes, dreams and aspirations of success, is based on their own human accomplishments. It is all about “SELF.”
WHAT DO YOU TRUST AND WHO DO YOU TRUST?
I fear too many people will only say, “ME.” In simple words, I trust no one but me, I know what is best for me. I live my life, no one else lives it for me. I am responsible to no one else, but me. Tell that to the Federal Government and Law enforcement. Then you have a very large portion of society and culture, who do not want to be responsible for themselves and expects the Federal Government to be responsible for them and provide everything they want and need to live, for “FREE.” THAT IS WHERE THEIR FAITH AND TRUST LIES IN THE CURRENT CULTURE.”
As Gary Wilkins said, “Faith is finished, but culture is always a rough draft. (ALWAYS CHANGING). Culture is different than faith. Our experience with faith is greatly affected by culture, but the object of our faith is fixed. That unchanging object is Jesus, God’s Son, and his life given for us!(Heb. 12:2). We mistakenly assume our culture is the same as our faith. Culture is changing, and it will change, but our faith must not. Culture is part of God’s design. It has operated within His plan from the beginning.” Now here is the real problem that I see in this world. The changing Culture demands, GOD, and the Word of God be changed, to fit the new current culture. (Political Correctness).
Again, everyone believes and trust something or someone, that is our human nature engrained in all of us. And their belief may be correct or incorrect. It will be a horrible shame to go through your entire life then discover your faith and trust in only yourself, or culture, has been worthless.
My faith, trust and beliefs are not in myself, they are in the “CREATOR.” My faith, trust and beliefs in the Creator, the God of heaven and earth, the one who gave me life and eternal life. This gives my life true meaning and fulfillment. And my life will never cease, and neither will yours. The only question is really, where will your life be after death (you will still exist in one place or another). I promise you that you will have a new culture in heaven or hell, and faith will not matter at that time.
I stated above that “Faith and Belief drives culture,” and explained why. Now I will make another factual statement. From the beginning, ALL Civilizations and Cultures have been “DRIVEN BY SIN.” The very first Civilization and Culture ever created, happened in the garden of Eden and became corrupted, and polluted by SIN. Every Civilization and Culture since, has been built on this.
THE ETERNAL CULTURE OBTAINED BY FAITH
What God the Creator says, is what really matters. The creatures of the world (Humans) demand that God conform and to their so-called worldly standards. THAT WILL NEVER HAPPEN. Let me explain the real problem God has with all of mankind. The real problem is the “SIN ISSUE” from every human and culture.
All the way back to humans beginning, our “original parents” were created and placed in the garden of Eden. (THE VERY FIRST CULTURE). That changed quickly. Then the “original sinner” (SATAN) entered the garden and tempted (set a trap) for Adam and Eve. He told them that they could be like God. Genesis 3:5 “For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.” Sin entered the world right there. WE humans have “inherited sin” from Adam and Eve. We all have a sinful human nature (born with it). And our body of flesh is sinful. God being who He is, cannot and will not ever ACCEPT SIN. BUT HE WILL FORGIVE IT. Not only did mankind fall but the original civilization and culture fell.
Adam and Eve separated all of mankind from God. All humanity LOST OUR RELATIONSHIP AND FELLOWSHIP WITH GOD THE FATHER. Isaiah 59:2 “But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have “hid his face from you”, that he will not hear.” This is where our relationship and fellowship with God CHANGED. GOD NEVER HAS AND NEVER WILL ACCEPT SIN, BUT AGAIN, HE WILL FORGIVE IT. THIS IS REAL SALVATION NOT SOME RELIGION.
GOD OFFERS HIS CHILDREN NOT JUST SALVATION BUT AN ETERNAL SINLESS CIVILIZATION AND CULTURE IN HEAVEN. NO SIN WILL EVER RUIN IT. IT CAN BE YOURS THROUGH “FAITH IN JESUS CHRIST.” WILL YOU BELIEVE IN HIM AND TRUST HIM?
There are many Religions on earth, and they will ALL send you to hell. BECAUSE THEY DO NOT RECONCILE OR DEAL WITH THE SIN ISSUE, WHICH IS GODS AND MANS PROBLEM. Never think your civilization and culture can ever Save You. MANKINDS WORKS AND CHANGING CULTURES WILL LEAD YOU STRAIGHT TO HELL REGARDLESS TO WHAT FALSE DOCTINE OR RELIGION YOU BELIEVE. All Religions are based on humans works. Jesus is left out of all Religions. The Paradise man wants to create on this earth, will never happen.
CONCLUSION
The sin issue has been all of mankind’s and God’s problem from the beginning. God did not create all of mankind just to burn us in hell. God never created ROBOTS, He gave all of us a great gift called FREE WILL, and you have it also. You have the CHOICE to accept or reject God and his forgiveness of sin. God provided the way of forgiveness for us. He sent his perfect only begotten son JESUS to pay the consequences of sin for us. Jesus took our place as our substitute and suffered and died on a Roman cross for ALL SIN-EVERYONES SIN, so we could be reconciled back to God and FORGIVEN. II Corinthians 5:21 “For he (GOD) hath made him ( JESUS) to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.
This is your decision; it is so eternally serious because the consequences will also be eternal. If you have never been saved by the grace of God, I ask that would you bow your heart, (ASK GOD) right now, and ask God to save you and come live in your life. Receive him by faith. Place your faith and trust in Jesus. I John 1:12 “12 But as many as received him, to them HE gave the power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:”
I find it hard in this world and Culture today to see the difference in the Church and the world, THAT IS A REAL SHAME. I am not asking you to join any church or affiliation. I am asking you to enter a personal relationship with Jesus Christ for Salvation. HOW CAN YOU NOT SEE THE EVIL IN THIS WORLDS CULTURE, TAKING OVER? Romans 10:13 says, “For who so ever shall call (ASK) on the name of the Lord shall be saved.” If you have done this, and received Jesus Christ, then please let me know so that I can rejoice with you.
