This article is called, “Why is Christianity Correct?” We live in an age of Religions, religious actions, deception, false doctrine, watered down Christianity, and the most Biblically Illerate generation, since the start of Christianity. NOW THAT IS A REAL MOUTH FULL TO SAY. There are different denominations and religions who claim to be Christians, when they are absolutely NOT. some are so unbiblical they really preaching “PAGANISM.” (FALSE gods).
What is the Christian Distinction
First, Christianity is not a Religion. Christianity holds to one and only true God of the Bible. He is the Creator of all things that exist. Christianity and the God of the Bible, has a problem with mankind, because of the “SIN ISSUE,” of all mankind. The sin issue is not really dealt with in so many false religions. Isaiah 59:2 “But your iniquities have separated you and your God, and your sins have hid His face from you, that He will not hear.” Second, Only the God of the Bible gave his only begotten son (JESUS CHRIST) to pay for sin, come to earth, have a special birth and suffer and die on a Roman cross to pay for humanities SINS. II Corinthians 5:21 “For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.”
Ephesians 2:8-9 “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.” Salvation is by Gods’ grace through faith ALONE. As verse 9 says “NOT OF WORKS.” Lest any man can BOAST. God gives mankind eternal Salvation when they come to Him. No one can work for salvation or earn it. No one can keep themself saved, only God does that. Many think, now I am saved I have to keep the law to stay saved. NOPE. Or I am now saved and have to be good and do the do’s and don’ts and be a good person. NOPE. Friends that is called “WORKS” and there are so many Religions based on works salvation in keeping yourself Saved. You cannot MIX Gods’ grace with works to be saved or stay saved. END OF STORY. You do not work to get saved and you cannot work to stay saved. This is so important so understand, Salvation comes from God, freely, or you have to work yourself to earn salvation and keep it. That is impossible because you cannot EARN your way into heaven, or say, “I WORKED HARD I EARNED IT AND I DESERVE TO BE HERE.” Isaiah 64:6 “But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf, and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.” Romans 3:10 “As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:” Never fool yourself and believe that you can earn or work your way to heaven.
GOD IS THE ONLY SOURCE OF TRUTH
I ask you to think about this heading, “GOD IS THE ONLY SOURCE OF TRUTH.” WHY? Because of who He is, and He is the creator of everything. Nothing exists without God. Someone right now is thinking, “Well, I have my own truth and it is real to me. My truth is what I want it to be.” I will tell you right now, “WELCOME TO THE SATAN CLUB, YOU JUST JOINED IT AND MADE SATAN VERY HAPPY.” This is exactly what got Lucifer/Satan and one third of the angels kicked out of heaven and given a new home in hell. EVERY FALSE RELIGION IS DEVOID OF GOD’S TRUTH. John 8:44 “SATAN IS THE FATHER OF ALL LIES, HE IS THE ORGINAL LIAR AND ORIGINAL SINNER.
As I just stated all throughout the history of mankind there have been hundreds of FALSE RELIGIONS. I firmly believe that Satan himself started ever false religion. I started talking above about, “THE CHRISTIAN DISTINCTION.” Dear Reader, You cannot even spell Christianity without CHRIST. And it all comes down to who Christ was, is and always will be–GOD. WHAT IS A RELIGIOUS CULT?
This one will really strike a never with people. Even groups who say they are Christians and Religious groups, under some Christian Denominations have turned into “CULTS” or are teaching false doctrines of the Bible. Am I saying they are lost or not going to heaven? NO, certain denominations have been led astray. An example of this would be the denomination which concentrates on the FORMER spiritual gifts of the Bible. Examples: Miracles performed by them, other gifts that ceased in the 1st century, and major on the Spectular things, claiming such power.
They preach a different gospel of health, wealth and prosperity. Their church services consist of nothing more than a circus and the supernatural for show. It is so sad to watch without a true gospel message leading lost people to Christ. Here is your religious cults of today. You really need to click the link and understand this. Then you have Steven Hassan who singles out, those who have dictatorial control. It uses deception in recruiting new members. Hassan also correctly points out that cults are not only religious; they may also be commercial or secular in nature. Hassan developed “BITE” to explain what is involved in Christian Control“
Behavior Control: An individual’s associations, living arrangements, food, clothing, sleeping habits, finances, etc., are strictly controlled.
Information Control: Cult leaders deliberately withhold or distort information, lie, propagandize, and limit access to other sources of information.
Thought Control: Cult leaders use loaded words and language, discourage critical thinking, bar any speech critical of cult leaders or policies, and teach an “us vs. them” doctrine.
Emotional Control: Leaders manipulate their followers via fear (including the fear of losing salvation, fear of shunning, etc.), guilt, and indoctrination. From a Christian perspective, a cult is any group that follows teachings that contradict orthodox Christian doctrine and promote heresy.
Now here is one that sounds really good. “CHILDREN OF GOD.” This severely twisted cult, founded by David Berg and also known as Family International, is devoted to pedophilia and sex, to put it bluntly. The followers of this cult believed that sex with children was natural and right. Based on the belief that apocalypse is coming (doomsday cult), this cult uses “flirty fishing”(use of sex) to get new members for it. The children who were born as a result of flirty fishing were referred to as “Jesus Babies”. Rose McGowan, the American actor escaped from this cult and revealed some of its brutality later. It is rumored that the female members of this cult are also forced to go into prostitution and sex slavery! (Source WIKIPEDIA).
CONCLUSION
I started this article by asking, “Why, is Christianity Correct? AND “What is the Christian Distinction?” ONLY THE GOD OF THE BIBLE GAVE HIS ONLY BEGOTTEN SON TO SUFFER, BE BEATEN AND DIE ON A CROSS FOR OUR SINS. (HE HAD NONE OF HIS OWN). That is the Christian distinction. Our forgiveness was bought by His suffering, blood and His death for us. THAT IS LOVE. It truly bothers me to see Christians Denominations into errors. They have replaced the message of Jesus Christ with many other things. You expect this from the false Religions of the world, but not in Christianity. Then you have many who claim to be Christian but are really a cult.
They deny the authority and authenticity of God’s Word, or pervert what God has said. To many say they believe in Jesus, but they make Him a good human man, or a prophet only, but deny His deity. In essence, if Jesus was just a good man or prophet, then we are all doomed to an eternal hell. Jesus said, John 8:24 “I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins.” He also said, that where I am you cannot come.
The Apostle Paul in the Bible was a very “RELIGIOUS MAN.” He was a great Scholar of that day. He got letters of authority to go out and kill CHRISTIANS, and he did. He thought in his religion it was his duty to do so. TODAY-Christians are still being killed WORLD-WIDE, just for being Christian. God struck Paul blind to get his attention, then Paul was converted and knew that Jesus was God and was real. Paul was forgiven by God’s Grace.
Now, here became Paul’s message that never changed. I Corinthians 2:2 “For I determined not to know anything among you, save Jesus Christ and Him crucified.” This was Paul’s message of the death, burial and resurrection, of Jesus Christ, that PAID forOUR SINS. Paul knew his sins had been forgiven, and he now had an eternal home in heaven with God. THAT WAS THE MESSAGE OF FORGIVENESS AND SALVATION.
All the way back in Genesis in creation, to the book of Revelation in the New Testament, There has always been 2 major issues through the entire Bible. Those 2 issues are “SIN AND SALVATION.” Sin broke our “RELATIONSHIP AND FELLOWSHIP” with God our Creator. God will NEVER accept sin because of who He is. All the way back then God promised a Savior that he would send and make a way for we humans to be forgiven and restored to a new relationship and fellowship with Him. Genesis 3:15
Let me show you from God’s Word what SIN did between US and God. Isaiah 59:2 “But your iniquities have separated you and your God, and your sins have hidden his face from you, so that he will not hear.” SIN IS THAT BAD IN GOD’S EYES, AND HE IS THE ONE THAT MATTERS BECAUSE HE IS GOD. Simply put. we have done wrong things, thought wrong things and said wrong things. In God’s eyes that is SIN. Sin has to be paid for and Jesus paid for everyone’s sins because he was and is the Messiah/Savior. The next time you look in a mirror look then and tell me you are perfect, and have never made any mistakes or sinned.
Now let me show you how God will see you and forgive you in Jesus Christ for all of your sins. THIS IS SALVATION. Hebrews KJV 8:12 “For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more.” THAT IS FORGIVENESS AND SALVATION FOREVER. This is not by any works or Religion, this is free and Gods free gift to you if you will accept it. God made the way for us to be saved by his grace through faith. God provided the payment for everyone’s sins so they could be forgiven and forgotten. This is now your eternal choice. You will accept or reject it. But please understand this one thing, if you reject God’s forgiveness, then he will reject you for all eternity, while you are in hell.
ROMANS 10:13 “For who so ever shall call (ASK GOD) upon the name of the Lord, shall be saved. If you ask him, I promise you that God will forgive you and save you.
