This article is called, “What Do We Know About Salvation? I think first I have to say, there are hundreds of Religions which people accept as a form of Salvation. There is also the belief that all Religions are true and equal. Then you have the false doctrine from Satan that says, we are all praying to the same God and just calling Him by different names. That false doctrine comes directly from the pits of hell. What do all false religions have in common? The false belief that will get them to heaven, and the one who dispenses what they call heaven. If you truly believe that your salvation depends on you, then you are in big trouble and been deceived.
If you truly want to know about True Salvation, then you must listen to, or go to, the one who owns it and paid for it. Now that would be the one who died for eternal Salvation, and paid the penalty for all sin. Then there is God the Father who ordained Salvation for the purpose of Reconcilation with lost mankind. Then there is the Holy Spirit of God who applies Salvation at the very moment of conversion, then lives in us until death or until the rapture of the church takes place.
Mankind has this worldly need to try and pick and choose the doctrine that pleases them. I guess they have never realized that God is not like Walmart, where they go and pick out the religion they choose. This world is full of false religions men have chose. And Satan has been behind every false religion to keep every human away from God, as much as possible.
FALSE RELIGIONS
Satan loves False Religions and since the garden of Eden, He has started hundreds if not thousands of false religions. Satans first false religion was in heaven when he rebelled against God and wanted to take over. The most amazing thing to me, was how did he convince one third of the Holy Angels to follow him in rebellion against God, and two third of Gods Holy Angels fought a war with them. Dear Reader, understand, that battle is not over yet, and version two is coming. ALL FALSE RELIGIONS WILL SEND YOU TO HELL BECAUSE THEY PLACE SO CALLED SALVATION, IN YOUR HANDS,AND WHAT YOU DO, AND HOW YOU EARN IT. YOUR OWN GOOD WORKS.
Here is what Jesus said about your own so called good works. MATTHEW 7:21 “Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. 22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? 23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.” You better take these words of Jesus very seriously and make sure you have true salvation based upon the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ to pay for the forgiveness of sin. That is what God accepts for true forgiveness of sin (not your so called good works).
HOW CAN I KNOW I AM SAVED?
As got questions says, “Everyone is born into sin, and we all “fall short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23; cf. Romans 5:12). Therefore, everyone needs to be saved from sin and death (Romans 6:23). We cannot save ourselves. To be saved, we must place ourfaith in Jesus Christ, who died on the cross to pay the penalty for our sins (Mark 10:45). When we place our faith in Him, we receive forgiveness for our sins (Acts 2:38), and we are made right with God (Romans 3:24).
So, how can you know that you are saved? Here are a few things that will be true about you if you are saved?
1. You believe in Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior. This means that you have confessed “with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead” (Romans 10:9).
2. You have repented of your sins. Repentance is a change of mind that results in a change of actions. With that change, you turn away from sin and turn toward God (Acts 11:18). You have “put to death the deeds of your sinful nature” (Romans 8:13, NLT). Yes, you will still sin, but you now have an earnest desire to honor God by following His commands.
3. You have a new heart and a new life (Psalm 51:10; Ezekiel 36:26; John 3:3, 5; 2 Corinthians 5:17). This means that you are no longer the same person that you used to be. Because you have been transformed by the power of God, you now have a desire to glorify Him in everything that you do (1 Corinthians 10:31).
4. You have the Holy Spirit within you. The Holy Spirit, the third person of the Trinity, lives within every believer (Romans 8:9). If you have received salvation, then you have been sealed with the Holy Spirit (Ephesians 1:13), who will empower and guide you to become more like Christ (Galatians 5:22–23).
5. You will read and obey the Bible. The Bible is God’s authoritative self-revelation to humanity (2 Timothy 3:16–17), and it is the primary way that He communicates with us. If you have received salvation, then you will want to learn more about God (Philippians 3:10) and His will for your life (Romans 12:2). You will also obey His commands out of love for Him (John 14:15).
6. You will share the gospel with others (Matthew 2–20). The gospel is the “good news” of what Jesus Christ has done in dying and rising again. If you have received salvation, then you will testify about the goodness of Jesus and how He transformed your life. You will want others to also experience the joy of salvation.
As a reminder, salvation is not something that we can earn or achieve. It is a gift that is provided by God through faith in Jesus Christ (Romans 6:23). We cannot save ourselves through good works or by trying to be a good person. It is onlythrough faith in Jesus that we can be saved (John 14:6).
If you are uncertain about the security of your salvation, here are a few things that you can do: First, you can pray and ask God for clarity. He does not want you to wonder and worry about whether you are truly saved (see 1 John5:13). Second, you can talk to a trusted pastor or Christian friend who can address any questions or doubts that you have. Third, you can read the Bible and study what it says about salvation and what it means to be a follower of Jesus.
Do you believe that Jesus died for your sins and rose from the dead, and are you trusting Him fully? If the answer is “yes,” then you are saved.” AMEN. HERE IS ANOTHER WAY I LIKE TO PUT IT.
CONCLUSION
God provided the way of forgiveness for us. He sent his perfect only begotten son JESUS to pay the consequences of sin for us. Jesus took our place as our substitute and suffered and died on a Roman cross for ALL SIN-EVERYONE’S SIN, so we could be reconciled back to God and FORGIVEN. II Corinthians 5:21 “For He (GOD) hath made Him ( JESUS) to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.
This is your decision; it is so eternally serious because the consequences will also be eternal. If you have never been saved by the grace of God, I ask, will you, turn from yourself and turn to God? Will you bow your heart, (ASK GOD) right now, and ask God to save you and come live in your life? Will you, put your faith and trust in Jesus for forgiveness and Salvation? Place your faith and trust in Jesus. I John 1:12 “12 But as many as received him, to them HE gave the power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:”
I find it hard in this world and Culture today to see the difference in the Church and the world, THAT IS A REAL SHAME. I am not asking you to join any church or affiliation. I am asking you to enter a personal relationship with Jesus Christ for Salvation. HOW CAN YOU NOT SEE THE EVIL IN THIS WORLDS CULTURE, TAKING OVER? The false teachers, False doctrines and false Religions. Even those infiltrating the Churches, through False Prophets. Romans 10:13 says, “For who so ever shall call (ASK) on the name of the Lord shall be saved.” If you have prayed, and received Jesus Christ as you personal Lord and Savior, then please let me know in the comment section below, so that I can rejoice with you.
