This article is called, “The Truth about Eternity.” That is a mouthful and I am sure some are saying, “I know the truth about eternity and have heard it before.” I have even heard it from preachers, church and others.” Maybe you have but one more time will not hurt. I truly believe the total truth is not preached from many pulpits because in reality, IT IS OFFENSIVE AND GOD INTENED IT TO BE OFFENSIVE. It is not just offensive but the purpose is for you to know the truth of what God tells us. Why is that? Because the consequences are also eternal. You truly should be thanking God that He lets us know. He could have withheld this knowledge, and let you find out the hard way after death.
But you can be just like some I have heard say, “FIRST YOU LIVE THEN YOU DIE.” End of story. That Dear Reader is nothing more than wishful thinking. Keep on believing that fantasy. Heaven and hell are both as real as you and me. And neither you or I know the exact moment we will die and enter eternity. Only God knows that. Hebrews 9:27 KJV God says, “And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:” God has told us there is life after death. Many scriptures verify this. Now you can say, “I do not believe in God or that Bible stuff. You have the right to do that but I will tell you, that you will regret it for eternity.
Dear Reader. You are a body, soul and spirit. Genesis 2:7 “And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.” Your “SOUL” IS ETERNAL, YOUR SOUL IS THE REAL YOU. People only see your flesh body. And your flesh body dies, because the flesh is poluted by sin. You only bury the body. Your soul will live on eternally, in one place or another, heaven or hell and that is your choice. NOW THIS IS AN ETERNAL TRUTH, FROM GOD HIMSELF. You also have free will. That is your ability to Choose.
So, here is a question that I think you can answer and must. You understand right from wrong? You understand good from evil? You understand moral from immoral. Where did those come from? You learn and understand one important thing all through life. THERE ARE CONSEQUENCES FOR EVERYTHING YOU DO. THEY MAY BE GOOD OR BAD CONSEQUENCES, DEPENDING ON YOUR ACTIONS. SO WHERE DID CONSEQUENCES COME FROM.
AND WHY DOES EVER PERSON (HUMANS) HAVE TO DEAL WITH CONSEQUENCES? Maybe you can deny that prisons are full of people paying the consequences, of their own actions. Maybe you can deny the thing called Justice. Maybe you can deny the concept of law and justice. Can you deny your own existence, and your own creation.
WHERE DID IT START
For us humans it started in the Garden of Eden with humans creation by God. For Lucifer/Satan it started in heaven when Lucifer led a rebellion against God and wanted to be like God. Then 1/3 of the angels joined in Satans rebellion, against their own creator. They sinned. And just so you will know, Angels also have “FREE WILL” just like we humans. Free will is your ability to Choose.Where did that come from? If there was no free will then you would be nothing more than a robot. Are you dumb enough to believe it evolved over billions of years?
Where did time come from and when did it start? Where did light and darkness, day and night come from and when did it start? Over billions of year there was a space rock and elements and chemicals soaked the rock and it evolved into a rolex watch. Do you believe that. I do not because a watch has a “MAKER.” AND SO DOES CREATION DEMAND A CREATOR, A MAKER. We also live in a universe of order. And order demand and ORDERER.
How long is ETERNITY? Maybe you do not understand God exist outside of time and space.God is not limited by time, space or eternity. Time was created for us. You can find these answers in the book of evolution, oh I am sorry the book of Genesis. Now here is a free one for you to understand. How long is eternity and forever? I can answer that for you. Eternity is the absence of time.
Revelation 10:6 “And sware by him that liveth for ever and ever, who created heaven, and the things that therein are, and the earth, and the things that therein are, and the sea, and the things which are therein, that there should be time no longer:” God Declares “TIME SHALL BE NO MORE, AND ETERNITY WILL BE NEVER ENDING AND FOREVER. This is why you cannot measure eternity by time. There is one truth about eternity for you.
HEAVEN AND HELL ARE BOTH REAL AND ETERNAL
God has existed from Eternity Past, He has alway existed. Again, Time as we know it was created for us by God. Christians are not perfect people they just have a perfect Savior. Christians are not perfect people the are just Forgiven. Heaven is a prepared place for a prepared people. John Chapter 14. Hell is a prepared place for Satan, his fallen angels and ALL SIN. Unfortunately, Sin entered this world by the Original Sinner, Satan.
I will talk about the real aspects of eternity. Heaven and Hell. That is what truly matters because one or the other will be our final destination for all of eternity. When Jesus walked this earth He taught about both, heaven and hell. Many scholars say, Jesus taught more about hell then He did heaven.
Jesus told us in Luke Chapter 16 about real people, it is not a parable. THIS IS BY FAR THE WORST SCENE IN THE ENTIRE BIBLE-BECAUSE IT IS ETERNAL. Lazarus is a poor begger. A starving begger who would be happy to eat the crumbs that fell off the rich mans table. He died and went to Paradise. The rich man died and instantly went to hell. Now he is in flames and torment.
The rich man from hell can see over into paradise, he has his mind and memory. Verse 23 he is in torment in the flames. He see’s Lazarus comforted. He see’s Father Abraham. He begs for a drop of water, which he did not get. There is a great barrier between them and no one can go back and forth. Imagine begging for one drop of water? Abraham reminds the rich man that in his life he had all the good things and Lazarus had nothing.
Dear Reader, After the death of Jesus and before the Resurrection of Jesus, He moved paradise to Heaven, Ephesians 4: 8-13. Understand this. Hell is the jail. The lake of fire is the prison. In between these two is the judicial judgement. If you have ever been arrested and gone to court, you understand the process. In Gods court there is no bail, and your trial and judgement is not postponed. And God Himself is the Righteous Judge. Hebrews9:27 “And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment” Judgement is certain and sure.
Romans 14:12 “So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God.” II Corinthians 5:10 “For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.” Hebrews 10:31 “It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.” For every lost person they will stand before GODS GREAT WHITE THRONE JUDGEMENT.
I have another reason for stating all of this. I showed earlier how the rich man died and in hell he can see Lazarus in paradise comforted. I showed how Jesus moved paradise to heaven. I also stated this will be the worst scene in the entire Bible. WHY? We Christians will be at the Great White Throne judgement of all the lost people. We will not be judged there, we are standing behind Christ on the throne. We will be there as “WITNESSES ONLY.” WE will see the lost, condemned for sin and all lost who are alive or brought out of hell for judgement will all be condemned and found guilty, then all cast into the lake of fire for all eternity.
Who will accuse you and scream, “Why did you not tell me about Jesus, forgiveness and Salvation? Why did you not tell me about heaven and hell?” Why do you want to see me tormented? I believe that will actually happen. Just as the rich man in Luke 16 could look and see Lazarus in paradise, Revelation Chapter 14 tells us the unsaved will be tormented day and night forever and ever “IN THE PRESENCE OF GOD AND HIS HOLY ANGELS.” They will be seeing all the glories of heaven but never be there. Will they spend eternity accusing you also? They might be screaming, “Why did you not tell me about Hell and the Lake of fire? Then the Bible tells us after the Great White throne judgement , REVELATION 21:4 then and only then, will God wipe away all tears from His childrens eyes.
This is true, and must be the most horrible scene in history, the Bible, and all Eternity.. Dear Reader, if this does not motivate you to witness to friends and family about the Salvation, sin, death and hell, I do not know what it will take to motivate Christians.
CONCLUSION
What I have written is Biblical and Truthful and will happen. It is guaranteed to happen because God says so. Finally, and most important is this, YOU NEED TO KNOW FOR A FACT THAT JESUS CHRIST IS YOUR OWN PERSONAL LORD AND SAVIOR. God is real and so is Satan. Heaven is real and so is hell. Sin has always separated us from God because of who God is. He cannot and will never accept sin but He will forgive it, because Jesus paid for sin for us. Jesus came to earth and died a cruel death on the cross to pay for our sins and satisfy God’s judgement. II Corinthians 5:21 “For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.” Jesus’ death, burial and resurrection were for us, and gives us eternal Salvation.
It is free to us, but it cost Jesus His very life to pay for our sins. Will you bow your heart, and turn from yourself and turn to God? Will you ask for forgiveness, Salvation, and receive Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior? I assure you on the word of God that He will save you and give you a new life in Christ. Romans 10:13 says, “For who so ever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved. Bow your heart and ask God. This is one prayer God will ALWAYS answer. This concludes “THE TRUTH ABOUT ETERNITY.
