This article is called, “The Battle for Spiritual Authority.” In the world we live in I think we understand there are many kinds of authorities in the world and in our lives. We say, countries, states, cities, regions, and governments have authority. And each country has the right and authority to guard and protect what they own, just as citizens do. Most countries have the authority to erect borders for their own security and protection. Nations throughout history have started wars, attacked others, over what they have or want to take and possess.
Then consider the World Wars that have been fought to protect what we own and protect our “FREEDOM” from being taken over and becoming slaves to rulers, dictators, and those that would destroy us. This holds true and all started from the first civilization as we know it. “POWER AND AUTHORITY” are 2 very big words, and always has been in our world. This has been used throughout all of human history to watch one nation conquer another nation, and control peoples for various reasons. There are still Religions in our world today who enslave others as commanded by their so called “god.”
POWER AND AUTHORITY
Let’s look for a few moments at the different kinds of power and authority. First, I want to get a definition of power and authority. There has always been a war for power, authority, and domination. The first instance of this, started before we were ever created. It started in heaven when Lucifer wanted to overthrow God, take God’s power and authority, and rule over heaven, and Gods’ creation. Definition of power, Oxford language “The capacity or ability to direct or influence the behavior of others or the course of events. The physical strength and force exerted by something or someone.”
Definition of Authority. “The power or right to give orders, make decisions, and enforce obedience. A person or organization having power or control in a particular, typically political or administrative, sphere.” In today’s world, culture, and society the laws that cover the abuse of power and authority, are totally overlooked. The prime example would be the unelected Global Elites who disregard the rights and laws all countries, and all humans. They set this and enforce their own agenda for the whole world. And yes, there is a full-scale war in progress for total control, of the entire world.
THE GREATEST BATTLE-SPIRITUAL AUTHORITY
Dear Reader, the greatest war and battle that any human faces or will ever face, is the Spiritual battle. I say this because the consequences of this war are eternal. This war is not just for your way of life, but it is for you very life, soul and spirit, forever. This war started before our very creation. It started in heaven when Lucifer tried to over-throw God and take over heaven. Lucifer exerted his own power and authority. He led a rebellion with 1/3 of the angels to destroy God’s power and authority. Isaiah 14:12-14. His goal was to rule and control. (That is the same goal of the globalist in this world). And it is still Satan’s goal.

Lies and deception has always been 2 of his greatest tools he uses to destroy humans’ lives and their eternal life. He is the Father of all lies. John 8:44. In heaven Satan wanted to be God, on earth he is called the god of this world, II Corinthians 4:4. Yet in the temptation of mankind in the garden of Eden he said, Genesis 3:5 “For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.”
Humans’ problem is how they reject the truth but prefer lies. As got truth says.”The phrase “god of this world” (or “god of this age”) indicates that Satan is the major influence on the ideals, opinions, goals, hopes and views of the majority of people. His influence also encompasses the world’s philosophies, education, and commerce. The thoughts, ideas, speculations and false religions of the world are under his control and have sprung from his lies and deceptions.
Dear Reader, I have been stating for years now, how Satan started every false Religion on earth. His purpose has been to keep people away from the truth of God and lead them to hell. Scholars who have studied Religions from time as we know it, has stated there has been over 4200 fake, false and counterfeit Religions. BibleGateway Dictionary says, there has been 8747 “false gods.”
POWER AND SPIRITUAL AUTHORITY IN RELIGIONS
I will use 2 examples to prove this. The first example uses Church membership, the Catechism and Sacraments as their power and authority to dispense what they call Salvation. Being a member of their Universal church give you salvation. Yet they control the powerful authority to take away your salvation and ex-communicate you. This is the largest “RELIGION” in the world. Many call it Christian, but that will depend on your definition of Christian. I have studied the history of the so-called Universal church. During the crusades they used “FORCED COVNVERSIONS” to their religion. Convert or die.
I see nowhere in God’s word where he gave any authority for this. Neither do I see God giving any power and authority, to change and re-write Gods laws and 10 commandments. Yet they claim the power and authority to declare “ANATHEMA” and place the curse of God on anyone who is not part of their Universal Church. Plainly put, anyone who is not part of the Universal church is destined for hell. I honestly feel sorry for the deceived people in the Universal Church. Neither do I find it scriptural to believe their leader rules on earth while Jesus Christ rules in heaven. The sad part is they have a works and performance salvation.
Example number 2. Second class Christians. No salvation without the miraculous Gifts. You must have the evidence of salvation. They claim all the authority of the prophets and Apostles with all of those gifts. Their services are more of entertainment than worship. They adopted “THE KNEW APOSTOLIC REFORMATION MOVEMENT” giving themselves all power and authority over everyone.
They have appointed themselves the rulers of Christianity. They do not preach the gospel of Jesus Christ but preach and teach the Health and Wealth gospel. Their personal religious experience supersedes everything. These are false prophets (both male and female) and are wolves in sheep’s clothing. The Prosperity gospel has made them millionaires, and the super elites of Religion. This has replaced the sacrifice of Jesus and His death burial and resurrection for salvation. If the Apostles were alive and walked in one of these churches, they would instantly rebuke them for using their name.
THE SIN ISSUE
Here is the dirty word of our day. It is not politically correct in our new world and culture. This word (SIN) is so offensive to the world. God says different. Sin is what separated us from God in the Garden of Eden. Sin is what got Lucifer kicked out of heaven. Sin is what will put every human in hell unless it is paid for. Let me show you what God says about it. Isaiah 59:2 “But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear.” Satan loves this because it separates humans from God. It brings a broken relationship and broken fellowship with God.
But Satan Hates this: Jeremiah 31:34 “And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.” Hebrews 8:12 “For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more.” Hebrews: 10:17 “And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more.” WOW, 3 separate times God tells us about forgiveness and cleansing from SIN. God has never just overlooked sin but provided a way to forgive it.
CONCLUSION
Here are the words of the Apostle Paul. Galatians 1:6-10 “I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel: 7 Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ.8 But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.9 As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.10 For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ.” THIS IS WHERE WE ARE TODAY.
Open sin and immorality are welcome and supported in many churches today. Jesus said to the church of Laodiceans, Revelation 3:15-17 “I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. 16 So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth. 17 Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked. ” Jesus said, you make me want to puke. NOTICE THIS IS THE LAST CHURCH ADDRESSED IN THE BOOK OF REVELATION, BEFORE THE RAPTURE OF THE CHURCH. WE ARE THERE RIGHT NOW.
Dear Reader, it is a big eternal mistake to place your faith and trust in yourself, or some other human, for eternal salvation. Yes, there are many people in our lives that we trust. No human on earth can reconcile you to God. Sin is bad, sin is ugly, and sin separated humans from God. Look in the mirror and tell me the person you see has never said anything wrong, thought anything wrong, or done anything wrong. We all know better that. We not only fail others we fail ourselves.
Romans 3:23 shows us where we all fail. “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” Romans 6:23 “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” Sin is a killer; this is why we all die.? As I stated above sin separate us from and Holy God. Jesus paid for our sins and bought and brought us back into relationship and fellowship with God. This is our salvation and restoration back to God. You can have that right now.
II Corinthians 5:21 “For he (GOD) hath made him (JESUS) to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.” Jesus became our substitute, took our place on the cross and paid for our sins. That is the gospel message and the gospel truth.
Will you turn from yourself and turn to God for forgiveness and Salvation? Will you put your faith and trust in Jesus for Eternal Salvation? Will you bow your heart and call upon God. I Corinthians 10:13 says, “For who so ever shall call (ASK) upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” I promise you on the authority of God’s word, that he will save you, forgive you and make you, His child. HE IS THE SUPREME AUTHORITY WHO POSSESSES ALL POWER.
