This article is called, “Sinful Man is at War with God.” Think about this statement, either you agree or disagree with it. When I say man, I do mean “MANKIND” all humans men and women. Surely someone is thinking, “I am not at war with God or anyone. I think I am a nice person, and I am always willing to help anyone I can. I love peace.” People’s proclamation of their own goodness is NOT a standard God accepts. Just as the Bible states, Romans 3:10-18 “As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one: ¹¹ There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God. ¹² They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one.

¹³ Their throat is an open sepulchre; with their tongues they have used deceit; the poison of asps is under their lips: ¹⁴ Whose mouth is full of cursing and bitterness: ¹⁵ Their feet are swift to shed blood: ¹⁶ Destruction and misery are in their ways: ¹⁷ And the way of peace have they not known: ¹⁸ There is no fear of God before their eyes.” Think about this, it is how God see’s us. MANKINDS SO-CALLED STANDARD OF LIVING DOES NOT MEASURE UP TO, OR COMPARE TO GODS’ STANDARD OF HOLINESS AND RIGHTEOUS, BECAUSE OF SIN. 

GODS’ STANDARD VERSES MANS STANDARD.

Place yourself and stand side by side with God. Now do your comparison then tell me who is Holy, Perfect, Righteous and Good. Understand that God has a standard that is based on Himself and who He is. What you have is the sinner telling the sinless, “I AM JUST AS GOOD AS YOU ARE.” The unholy telling the holy, we are the same. The unperfect, telling the perfect, we are identical. The unrighteous telling the Righteous God, I never sin or do anything wrong. Humans’ worldly standards fall short. and are sinful. The real difference between human’s standards and Gods, are darkness and light, perversion and perfection.

WHERE DID THE WAR START

Satan’s war started in heaven with God, before the earth was created. Satan choose to sin and wanted to take over heaven, become God Himself, and set his own throne above Gods. Humans war started in the Garden of Eden with our original parents Adam and Eve. Satan brought his war with God to earth, to continue on through Gods new creation of humanity. Satan’s war with God started with Rebellion in heaven, humans war with God, started in the garden of Eden because of disobedience, unbelief and sin. Satan really wants you to join his side in this war.

Maybe you do not truly understand sin is the enemy of God. We are sinners and sin kill us. Romans 3:10 “As it is written, there is none righteous (GOOD), no, not one Romans 3:23 WHY ARE NONE GOOD AND RIGHTEOUS?  “For ALL have sinned and come short of the glory of God.” Here are the consequences and penalty for all sin. This is why we ALL DIE. Romans 6:23 “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”

THE WAR WITHIN YOURSELF

Have you ever talked to yourself, or argued with yourself? And sometimes you think you are crazy. But I do have to ask, “When you do this, who wins the battle?” Ha Ha,  You actually may not be as crazy as you think, especially if you are a Christian. Understand one thing. If you have been saved by the blood of Jesus, through faith in Christ, then the Holy Spirit of God lives in you. He is a real person. AND HE WILL SPEAK TO YOU FROM INSIDE. He can impress your heart, spirit, mind and soul. I know He is real, and I talk to Him all the time. Ephesians 4:30 says, “And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.”

John 16:13 “Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.”

It is the Holy Spirits job to help keep me and you straight, on the inside. I and every human needs this because we are still in a sinful human flesh body. And the spirit and flesh battle each other. Then add to the battle Satan or his little demons who use our sinful flesh against us or get into your mind and though process. I find how often (daily) I have to ask the Holy Spirit to kick them out of my mind and flesh. Jesus said, John 14″26 “²⁶ But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your           remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

CONCLUSION

Dear Reader. Just look all around this world that we live in. War has become a way of life for too many. Families are at war with each other. Races are at war with each other. Nations and Countries are at war with each other. “WAR HAS BECOME A WAY OF LIFE.” So many will never be happy unless there is war and conflict. Just look at the weapons that have been invented to wipe out civilizations around the world. This has been mankind’s existence from our beginning. 

Satan was never satisfied with losing his war in heaven and being kicked out. Isaiah 14:12-14 “How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! ¹³ For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: ¹⁴ I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.”

This war and all wars will continue on as long as “SIN” EXIST; God’s Word makes this very clear. In every war there are casualties. In this war between God and Satan, there are only 2 sides, and the Bible tells us who will win in the end. There have been many kinds of wars. Wars over freedom, wars over Religions, wars over land, and so on. The war between God and Satan is over “OWNERSHIP,” not just over the world but over “WE HUMANS.” The war is between good and evil, and right and wrong, but also between Righteousness and Sin. 

Satan and Sin, started this war. God and Righteousness will end this war. Your existence proves that you are in it. You are on one side or another. Someone is thinking I am not in any war I am neutral. Let me make one thing clear to you. YOU HAVE A CHOICE. Your rejection of God puts you on Satan’s side. Joshua 24:15 “And if it seems evil unto you to serve the Lord, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served.” THE REAL WAR IS FOR YOUR VERY ETERNAL SOUL AND SPIRIT. 

Ephesians 6:12 “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.” You are already in this war. Satan and his fallen angels have already been judged and sentenced to hell. God will: NEVER ACCEPT SIN, IT IS CONTRARY TO WHO HE IS. BUT HE WILL FORGIVE IT IF YOU COME TO HIM FOR FORGIVENESS. We humans have all messed up, done wrong, and did things we should not have done. GOD CALLS THAT SIN. Go look in the mirror and tell me the person you see is perfect. Tell me that person has never sinned.

Here is the BAD NEWS: Isaiah 59:2 “But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear.” DESTINATIOM HELL. YOUR CHOICE.

Here is the GOOD NEWS: Hebrews 10:17 “And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more.” This my friend is SALVATION AND FORGIVENESS FROM GOD. DESTINATION HEAVEN. YOUR CHOICE.

Jesus Christ became our “SUBSTITUTE” and paid for our SINS. He fought the war with Satan and won for us. Romans 6:23 “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” This is why we ALL DIE. Sin is a killer. Jesus, being God is the only one who could pay for EVERYONE’S SINS. He was beaten, battered, bruised and hanged on a Roman cross to pay for everyone’s sins. There He died and that payment was fulfilled for all humans and brought forgiveness from God. II Corinthians 5:21 “For he hath made him (JESUS) to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.” He bought our forgiveness. The Resurrection of Jesus was the proof that sin had been paid for by Him.

God created HELL for Satan, his fallen angels and Sin. Click the blue link for more documentation of hell. Satan brought sin into our earth in the Garden of Eden and our original parents fell into sin that separated us human from our Creator. God has given every human a great gift. It is called “FREE WILL.” That is our ability to “CHOOSE.” We all have it and use it every day. You will choose God or Satan, heaven or hell. As I stated above you will choose one. Your rejection of Gods’ forgiveness of sin is a choice for Satan and hell. YOU CHOOSE.     

This war will continue on after the Rapture of the church, and through the 7-year Tribulation, that is soon coming on the entire world. Revelation Chapter 6 through 19. This will be hell on earth, and you surely do not want to be here, and you do not have too.                                                     

Romans 10:13 says, “For who so ever shall call (ASK) on the name of the Lord shall be Saved.” Will you bow your heart, turn from yourself, turn to God in heaven, and ask for forgiveness? If you will God will forgive you and Save you immediately. He will make you a new person inside.
