This article is called “WHERE NO ONE STANDS ALONE.” THERE IS A SONG BY THE SAME NAME AND I WILL GIVE THE LINK HERE SO THAT YOU CAN HEAR IT AND I WILL ALSO PLACE THE WORDS TO THIS SONG, HERE SO YOU CAN READ THEM WHILE THE SONG PLAYS. I do this because it s very possible to be among many friends and relatives and yet feel totally alone at the same time. Boy do you not only feel totally alone, but feel totally neglected and un-important. Here is the song, and the words to the song, underneath the song, so you can follow along.
Once I stood in the night With my head bowed low In the darkness as black as could be And my heart felt alone, and I cried, “Oh Lord Don’t hide your face from me”
Hold my hand all the way, every hour, every day Come here to the great unknown
Take my hand, let me stand Where no one stands alone
Like a king, I may live in a palace so tall With great riches to call my own But I don’t know a thing In this whole wide world That’s worse than being alone
Hold my hand all the way, every hour, every day Come here to the great unknown
Take my hand, let me stand Where no one stands alone
Take my hand, let me stand Where no one stands alone
WHO CARES?
Maybe you can relate to this song. I think there are times in every persons life where they feel and believe they are totally alone, and worthless to themselves and everyone else. They feel no one understands them and no one really cares about them. Have you ever in despair, asked yourself this question, “WHO CARES?” I have even heard many people say this with me in counselling sessions. “I would not matter to anyone even if I died. No one would care. They would probably be glad to get rid of me, and glad to see me go.”
More than likely this is not true, but their feelings and emotions make them feel this way. And they have to live with their feelings and emotions constantly. They feel like this will never go away, and Satan will do his best to make sure these feelings never change or go away. Most depression comes from feelings of sadness, sorrow, loneliness, and despair. well how friends had teenagers and they would say, its just puppy love, they will get over it. I use to tell them maybe they do not realize, that it is real to the puppy? Never forget that Christians are not immune from depression and despair either.
BIBLICAL DEPRESSION
Would it surprise you to find out even the best people we know of, from the Bible suffered from Depression just like any other human? Their lives were a lot harder than our lives are and they did not have of of the modern conveniences to help them. The Bible has a lot to say about them and depression. First, in this world can you find anyone who is not depressed? Would it surprise to know most of God’s greatest servant suffered with depression and its effect, jus like all other humans. And in our world today, there are so many different types of depression. Modern humans just have a greater list of depressive disorders. It is nothing new, and I believe it started way back in the garden of Eden, when sin entered the world, with the fall of all humans.
As got questions .com says “Depression is a widespread condition, affecting millions of people, Christians and non-Christians alike. Those suffering from depression can experience intense feelings of sadness, anger, hopelessness, fatigue, and a variety of other symptoms. They may begin to feel useless and even suicidal, losing interest in things and people that they once enjoyed. Depression is often triggered by life circumstances, such as a loss of job, death of a loved one, divorce, or psychological problems such as abuse or low self-esteem.
Clinical depression is a physical condition that must be diagnosed by a physician. It may not be caused by unfortunate life circumstances, nor can the symptoms be alleviated by one’s own will. Contrary to what some in the Christian community believe, clinical depression is not always caused by sin. Depression can sometimes be caused by a physical disorder that needs to be treated with medication and/or counseling. Of course, God is able to cure any disease or disorder. However, in some cases, seeing a doctor for depression is no different than seeing a doctor for an injury.” My opinion from studying the Bible shows those who have had the greatest desire to serve God the most have all encountered depression the most and had a never ending battle with Satan and his little demons (just my opinion).
Never forget what God said in I Corinthians 10:13 “There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.” Stay in prayer and stay in God’s word. Christian, always remember the Holy Spirit of God lives in you and He is greater than any attack satan and the world can throw on you. Jesus said, Hebrews 13:5 “5 Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.” Understand God never fails.
GODS’ GREATEST SERVANTS
Study the life of Job and Soloman. Study the life of David, Jeremiah (the wheeping prophet). Study the life of Moses. Study the lives of the Apostles and most importantly, study the life of our Lord an Savior, Jesus Christ. See all that He faced more than any human man. But He suffered it all, because He loved us. God poured out all of His righteous WRATH on Jesus while being put to death on a cross for us while paying the price for our sins. Jesus faced more for us then we ever could or could even imagine. He suffered it all so, that we would never have too. Do you think that Gods’ people in captivity never suffered depression and God’s greatest servants?
In today’s world and societies, depression has a very high percentage of depression in all of their societies. Drugs have become a major crutch worldwide, for all peoples. Of course modern day society has become the largest society ever, with the most addicted people ever. We humans have known depression, since the garden of Eden. Never forget the total effects of SIN in the garden of Eden.
CONCLUSION
I have talked alot in this article about depression. Every human has had it at some point in their life. I also wanted to show how depression is part of own own sinful nature then show also how so many of God’s greatest suffered with it also. But the main question is how did they and how do you deal with it? We live in a world where to many do not even know how to deal with it or do not want to, Understand how it Affects every area of our lives. According to professionals, there are many forms of depression. So, here is a key question. “HOW DO YOU FEEL?” Yes, your feelings have a great part to do with depression. And everyone should know feelings change.
Now of course so called professionals start with a questioner to try and determine what kind of depression, they bellieve you suffer from. My question is this? How many “antidepressants” are you own, to try and control you own feelings. Has this crippled you physically, mentally emotionally socially, spiritually or all of them?
Mental Health Disorders
The most significant risk factor for suicide is mental illness, particularly depression, which is in up to 90% of individuals who die by suicide. Other psychiatric conditions that elevate risk include bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), anxiety disorders, and eating disorders. The presence of multiple mental health conditions simultaneously further increases vulnerability. I have to ask this question right here. HOW MUCH OF THIS IS SATANIC OR DEMONIC?
Jesus does not dismiss human depression; He understands it, shares in it, and offers comfort, rest, hope. Believers are invited to bring their burdens to Him, seek support, pray, and focus on God’s promises, trusting that He provides peace and guidance even in the darkest times. Read Isaiah 53 to understand all this. He endured and suffered more than any human yet He remained perfect. Yet He promised, Hebrews 13:5 “Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.”
Dear Reder, Jesus did that for us on the cross and through the Resurrection. He bled, died and suffered all of this for us. Isaiah 53:4 “Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.” Dear Reader, No Christian has ever stood alone, and no one will ever stand alone if you will come to Him, He and the Holy Spirit of God will always be there to comfort, lead and guide you if you know Him in the free pardon of sin.
Please listen to me. How alone are you and how lonely are you. If you are not a Christian then you will never have to stand alone, if you will come to Jesus Christ and give Him your heart and life.
WE live in a world where human comfort rules supereme over morality, and God. Deception leads people away from God and the false feels normal. Even today the name od Christ is spoken in contempt. Feelings have been placed, above truth, and placed above God. When Religion has replaced Repentance it has become Demonic. Their Religion has become their God. Their Religion puts man in the center, not God.
Again feelings have replaced the truth. So? Be honest, is this you and where you are in your life? Do you want to change and become a true child of God forever? If you are tied up in some world wide Universal Religion, that believes they control you salvation and can take it away, get out of there, they are the biggest liars on the planet. God never gave them control over salvation, and their false authority, over these false prophets and their institution.
Romans 10:13 says, “For who so ever shall call (ASK) on the name of the Lord shall be saved.” Romans 10:9-10 If you have prayed, and received Jesus Christ as you personal Lord and Savior, then please let me know in the comment section below, so that I can rejoice with you. AS God promised, I will never leave you nor forsake you, and you will never stand alone. Please come to Jesus.
Your thoughts, opinions and comments are welcome so leave them below in the comment section. Please listen to this beautiful song. RAY.
